Hampstead Counselling Service, a charity composed of a small group of therapists, is looking to recruit a new paid counsellor/psychotherapist. HCS is a low-cost service and applicants must have the resilience and experience to work with complex client presentations with fortnightly group supervision. Candidates must be BACP Accredited or UKCP Registered or eligible for either status within six months of joining.

Counsellors are paid 17 per session. It is expected for counsellors to organise their own room from which to practice in a location which is convenient for our North London clients. HCS will help to cover the costs of the room up to an arranged hourly limit.

Mandatory Group Supervision followed by a clinical team meeting takes place fortnightly on Friday mornings. Candidates will be expected to commit to seeing at least four clients with at least two in the evenings after 6pm.

    Application deadline: 20th May.
