  • Hampstead Counselling Service is a charity, founded in 1988, for the purpose of offering confidential and affordable therapy and counselling.

  • We are staffed by a team of fully qualified and experienced counsellors.

  • We work with both individuals and couples and provide counselling on a short-term and long-term basis.

  • Our counsellors are based in Hampstead, Belsize Park, Gospel Oak, Golders Green and Swiss Cottage. All are easily accessible by public transport.

  • The counsellors support our work by contributing their services for significantly reduced fees, and our clients are asked to pay a fee according to their financial circumstances.

    We are looking to recruit a new paid counsellor/therapist. Candidates must be qualified and either accredited or working towards obtaining accreditation within six months of joining. Candidates also need to have their own arrangements for a room in which to practice in one of the following areas: NW3, NW6, NW1, NW5 or NW11. In addition to being paid 17 per client session plus room costs, you will receive 1.5 hours of group supervision each fortnight on a Friday morning as well as being part of a clinical meeting on the same day. A further requirement, in addition to attending the fortnightly supervision and meeting, is that you commit to seeing at least four clients per week.
